Asaf Nagler is Senior Director of Government Relations at ABB, where he leads federal and state policy and market development activities across a range of issues and technologies, from electric vehicles and smart grid to robotics and workforce development. Asaf’s work includes crafting policy and regulatory regimes that enable electrification of transportation across segments, from EV charging infrastructure for cars, trucks, and transit buses to electrifying ports, ferries, and other marine vessels. Prior to ABB, Asaf founded two start-ups in the clean energy industry and served as Chief of Staff to the U.S. Under Secretary of Energy where he helped oversee $37 billion in Recovery Act investments in clean energy and manage $8 billion in annual energy programs.
