I’m the vice president and the project director of ABB – Statoil Subsea Power Joint Industrial Program in Oil, Gas and Chemicals. I am focus on developing next generation of subsea technology for ABB. I joined ABB in 1981 as head of department in ABB Norway corporate research (NOCRC), and became the managing director of NOCRC in 1998 and has had several senior management position in R&D, business development and general management for local business units in Norway, Switzerland, China and India from 2001 until 2012. I obtained Ph.D. in 1981 and Bachelor of 1st class honors in Electrical Engineering in 1978 from Heriot Watt University in United Kingdom.
