Mario has more than 20 years of experience working across Oil & Gas, Chemicals and energy sectors throughout the Asia Pacific region. As the National Sales Manager for ABB Australia’s Electrification business, Mario leads a 60+ strong national sales team covering all aspects of electrification across major industry segments such as mining, oil & gas, power distribution, e-mobility and transport including rail and aviation. As ABB Australia’s Digital Lead, Mario is advancing the role of digitally connected solutions and enabled solutions and services and supporting customers with their digital transformation journey. Mario’s previous experience includes leading large engineering, service, maintenance and project operations, including strategic market and project development teams. This includes representing major energy companies on joint venture boards and as shareholder representative, in the development of new energy and critical infrastructure and operations. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons) degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) Australia.
