Our variable speed drives (VSDs) bring about improvements in product quality and process efficiency through fast and accurate process control. By detecting faults and providing important information about the operation of the motor and the application, VSDs work as process sensors in the IIoT setting. With integrated remote services, drives are able to provide data that can be analyzed and turned into actionable insights to prevent costly downtime.

Drives can do a lot of things already that improve our customers’ operations. But we believe that they can do much more. We believe that VSDs can be more intelligent, more effortlessly connected and more intuitive in terms of simplicity.

To achieve the full potential of our drives, we invite innovators and entrepreneurs around the world to take on the challenge of transforming the role of variable speed drives in an industrial setting which may include improving the design, use and operation of drives or finding entirely new use cases for drives.
