“Go to IFA and you’ll know it all!”

This is my third time at IFA, the world’s most important exhibition for consumer electronics, and the third time for Busch-Jaeger, an ABB company.

Connectivity, digitization and Smart home are again the main themes of the event. The posters all over the city tell me to “Go to IFA and you’ll know it all!” – so this is what I’m doing and I will bring the highlights from our booth to you!

Smart Home is a reality and no longer just a vision for the future.

With its eye-catching design the booth reminds me of a modern apartment. From the entrance area featuring Busch-Welcome to the living-room and the garden, all applications are controlled by KNX, Busch-free@home or even smart conventional installation solutions.

The most eye-catching things for me are:

  • The Busch-Radio BTconnect. It makes streaming music via Bluetooth to the flush-mounted radio possible.
  • The building automation system Busch-free@home is now also available as a wireless solution, enabling  modernization of houses without making  s.
  • A spectacular show with live music about the Smart Home topic excites me and proves to be a crowd puller four times a day

For me Smart Home is …

We raise this question to our visitors and encourage them to post their ideas on to a pin board. In my opinion Smart Home stands for a home that offers additional comfort compared to a conventional one. The solutions involved, however, do not have to be complex or expensive; ranging from automatically controlled lighting in the hallway or in the bathroom to the complete connectivity and control of the entire electrical installation (also remotely controlled). For this we showcase multiple possibilities at the event for the intelligent and convenient design of  – Living Space® for every budget and all kinds of requirements

 

On time at home for dinner …

The amateur chef in me is excited about this news! A couple of days ago the cooperation between Busch-Jaeger und B/S/H has been announced. Presented as a Pilot at the event, the integration of household devices (white goods) into home automation. While preparing the meal I wish you lots of fun at the IFA!
