Checklists

This one is for my colleague, Tony Atkinson, who loves checklists

I had the need to visit a bank this week to transfer money from one account to another, it was unusual for reasons that are not worth repeating. However, to me it seemed to take very little time but the bank teller was sighing and moaning. “What’s the problem” I asked. “We’ve just had a system update and now I have to go through a checklist every time I do one of these rare transactions” was his response. “Does it mean you get it right, each and every time?” I said. “Yes” was all he said. Nothing more was needed.
